1 head, what, if anything, happened to any money in your
2 presence?
3 A I didn't hear that.
4 Q Okay. Did you have any money on your person?'
5 A No, I didn't have any money on my person. There was
6 money in the box where we was fighting, you know, because
7 it was a lot of money, so I took the money, and I had it
8 in a box.
9 Q ;And where was the box?
10 A Maybe about three or four feet from where we was
11 fighting& so—you know,with the wrestle and struggle,
12 the money was—you know—I had it in a box of brandy
13 Q A brandy box?
14 A A brandy box.
15 Q Okay. And what happened with the gun that you had on
16 your person? What ever happened to that?
17 A Well, you know, like I said, these men hit me so many
IS times over my head that I just— I was lucid (sic), and
19 he finally got the gun from me.
20 Q This man or the other man?
21 A The other man.
22 Q What, if anything, happened to the money?
23 A Oh, gone. They took it.
24 Q Who took it?
25 " I don't know" I was--I was fighting ,and I was fearing
81 for my life, so I imagine they both took it;
2 Q Okay, when all this was done, were you missing some
3 money?
4 A Oh, yes.
5 Q Approximately how much?
6 A About eleven-fifty or eleven hundred, eleven-fifty.
7 Q One thousand one hundred and fifty dollars?
8 A Yes, yes. All the money was gone.
9 Q And did you see either one of these men with any guns?
10 A No, I didn't. No, I didn't. It happened so fast that I
11 don't know who had the gun.
12 Q Okay. When all this was done, your gun was gone?
13 A Yes.
14 Q Did you give either one of these men—the defendant here
15 or the other man—consent or permission to take your gun?
16 A No, I didn't. No, sir.
17 Q Did you give them any consent or permission to take the
18 money?
19 A No, sir.
2.0 Q Did you give either one of them consent or permission to
21 injure you in any way?
22 A No, sir.
23 Q What sort of injuries did you suffer as a result of this
24 incident?
25 A Well, I got two hundred and ten stitches in my head.
